Tsavo West National Park
Located in Kenya’s coastal region, Tsavo West National Park boasts a range of unique wildlife, magnificent scenery and natural features providing impressive safari experiences. The park can be visited throughout the year though it’s advisable to avoid March, April and May for being rain season in Kenya. The Mombasa-Nairobi highway divides it from the adjoining Tsavo East National Park. When combined, Tsavo West and Tsavo East make one of the largest national parks in Africa and around the world.

Safaris and game viewing in Tsavo West is the main activity mainly visited from Mombasa. It is a place like no other, a world of its own teeming with wonderful wildlife. It is important to note that due to its vast territory, wildlife and game viewing may sometime be challenging. Wildlife include leopards, cheetahs, buffalos, black rhinos, elephants, giraffe, lesser kudus, lions and many more. Birdwatching is also exceptional while other important touristic features include Mzima springs, Shetani Lava flow and Lake Jipe.
