Tsavo East National Park
Located in Kenya’s coastal region, Tsavo East National Park is the biggest park in Kenya. Its beautiful landscape and proximity to the coast makes it a popular safari destination but more for explorers than game viewing. It’s one of the world’s leading biodiversity strongholds. Bushy grassland and open plains alternate with semi-arid acacia scrub and woodlands. Find the Yatta Plateau in Tsavo East, the world’s largest lava flow. The Mombasa-Nairobi highway divides it from the adjoining Tsavo West National Park.
