If you love the Chimps, 3 Day Chimpanzee Safari Experience Kenya is one you can never miss. We take you to Sweetwaters Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a refuge designed as a safe haven for Chimps from Central Africa, rescued from the bush meat and pet trade. All of the Chimps at Ol Pejeta were rescued from these kinds of conditions. They now roam free on a large island at the centre of the ranch where they have formed a large social group, and interact and breed freely. Other wildlife can also be found here.
Day 1: Nairobi – Sweetwaters Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Depart your Nairobi hotel/home for Sweetwaters Ol Pejeta Conservancy arriving in time for check-in and lunch at Sweetwaters Tented Camp or similar. The camp is one of its kind, a sheltered oasis, clustered around a waterhole and set in the pristine calm of the private Ol Pejeta Conservancy. It offers a charming blend of under-canvas ambiance and Kenyan safari luxury. An afternoon safari game drive will follow marked by a visit to the remarkable Chimpanzee and Rhino Sanctuaries. This is the only place in Kenya where you can find endangered and intelligent chimpanzees. Other game can also be found here. Chimpanzee Safari Experience Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
Day 2: Full Day Sweetwaters Ol Pejeta Conservancy
You will have a full day at Sweetwaters with morning and afternoon game drive. This provides you an ample time to explore this sanctuary as you marvel at the magnificent sights of the snow-capped Mt. Kenya peaks. Game drives at Sweetwaters are indeed a pleasure. Here, there are optional activities such as game walks accompanied by Resident Naturalist and game rides on horseback or Camel riding and night game drives. These optional activities are at extra fee payable locally. The Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary is incorporated within the Ol Pejeta Conservancy and is the only place in Kenya where this highly endangered and remarkably intelligent species can be seen. Chimpanzee Safari Experience dinner and overnight stay at Serena Sweetwaters Tented Camp.
Day 3: Sweetwaters Ol Pejeta Conservancy – Nairobi

Nairobi has been nicknamed as the world’s safari capital in the sense that it is the only place in the world with a wildlife park within its boundaries. From kissing giraffes, shopping, art and culture, dining, parks and green spaces to sport activities, Nairobi is a beehive of activities. Time for optional lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant.
